Is MyCPR NOW accredited?
Yes. MyCPR NOW and its complete course catalog are fully accredited by the International Council for Online Educational Standards (ICOES).
Accreditation provides independent evaluation of the educational provider and course content. It does not replace employer, licensing, workplace or regulatory requirements.
Is MyCPR NOW legitimate?

No. MyCPR NOW certificates are issued by MyCPR NOW, whose complete online course catalog is accredited by ICOES.
If your employer or licensing authority specifically requires an American Heart Association-issued certification, designated provider or hands-on skills evaluation, confirm that requirement before selecting a course.
Do MyCPR NOW courses include hands-on training?
No. MyCPR NOW provides 100% online, knowledge-based certification courses. The courses do not include an in-person skills demonstration.
Some employers, licensing authorities and organizations require separate hands-on training.

What is the difference between CPR/AED, First Aid and BLS certification?
CPR/AED certification focuses on cardiac arrest, chest compressions, ventilations and automated external defibrillator use.
First Aid certification focuses on common injuries, illnesses, wounds, bleeding, burns, shock, fractures and choking response.
Basic Life Support certification provides more detailed resuscitation instruction covering adults, children and infants and is commonly sought by healthcare and support professionals.
What should I choose if I need both CPR and First Aid?
Choose the CPR/AED + First Aid Certification if you need training in both subjects through one combined certification option.
Courses and Exams
Do I need an account to access a course or exam?
No. You can access the course material and certification exam without creating an account.
Can I review the course before paying?
Yes. The complete course material is available before payment. You may review the training and take the certification exam without making an advance purchase.
Am I required to purchase a certificate after taking the exam?
No. Taking or passing an exam does not require you to purchase a certificate.
Payment is only required if you pass and choose to obtain the certification.
What score is required to pass?
A minimum score of 80% is required to pass MyCPR NOW certification exams.
Can I retake an exam if I do not pass?
Yes. You may retake the exam as many times as necessary without an additional charge.
Will I receive the same questions if I retake an exam?
MyCPR NOW uses multiple exam versions that rotate. You may or may not receive the same questions during another attempt, but each exam is based on the same course material.
How long does certification take?
There is no scheduled class or fixed completion time. You may review the course material and take the exam at your own pace.
Completion time varies based on the selected course and how much time you spend reviewing the material.
Can I complete a course on my phone or tablet?
Yes. Course material and certification exams can be accessed from a computer, tablet or mobile device.
Payments and Certificates
When do I pay?
Payment is only required after you successfully pass the certification exam and choose to obtain your certificate.
When will I receive my certificate?
Your digital certificate is available to download immediately after you pass the exam and complete payment. A certificate email is normally delivered within minutes.
How do I download my certificate?
Visit the Certification Download Area and enter your order number and the email address used during checkout.
What should I do if I do not receive my certificate?
First, check your spam or junk folder. You can also retrieve the certificate through the Certification Download Area using your order number and checkout email address.

Are certificates mailed?
Certificates are issued digitally in PDF format and are not mailed. A physical wallet card may be available as an optional add-on during checkout for certain certifications.
How long is a certification valid?
MyCPR NOW certifications are valid for one year from the completion date.
How do I renew my certification?
Renewal requires reviewing the applicable course material, passing the certification exam again and completing payment for a new certificate.
What name will appear on the certificate?
Enter the certificate recipient’s name in the designated name field during checkout. If a certificate has already been issued with an incorrect name, contact info@cprcertificationnow.com for assistance.
What is the refund policy?
MyCPR NOW does not provide refunds for completed certificate purchases because digital certificates are issued immediately and cannot be retracted.
You are not required to purchase before reviewing the complete course or taking the exam.
Group Orders and Support
Does MyCPR NOW offer group discounts?
Yes. Group pricing is available for organizations enrolling multiple participants.
Use the Group Discount Request Form to select a certification, enter the group size and receive pricing information.
Can I purchase certification for an employee, friend or family member?
Yes. Enter the participant’s name in the designated certificate-name field during checkout so the correct name appears on the certificate.
